Willie Garson, the famous actor who appeared in “Sex and the City” and was part of other prominent projects like “Walk of Shame”, died, Sept 21, 2021 – his son Nathen Garson to the news outlets.
Recently, Willie Garson’s son posted on Instagram with a caption saying, “I love you so much, papa. Rest In Peace and I’m so glad you got to share all your adventures with me and were able to accomplish so much,” he wrote, “I’m so proud of you.”
A representative of HBO max also confirmed Willie Garson’s departure. The TV network honored his valuable contributions in a statement, saying, “Willie Garson was in life, like on-screen, a devoted friend and a bright light for everyone in his universe,” it further says, “He created one of the most beloved characters from the HBO pantheon and was a member of our family for nearly twenty-five years. We are deeply saddened to learn of his passing and extend our sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.”
The Sex and City featured Willie Garson as Stanford Blatch, companion and best friend of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker). The series had him in 27 episodes. throughout his career, he has done 300 episodes in different series and 75 films in total.
At the age of 13, Willie Garson started his journey to learn acting and got admission to Wesleyan University – as per the university’s website
He began building his career by making guest appearances in TV shows like “Family Ties” and “Cheers”.

As per the news, Willie Garson is also included in the remake of the series “And Just Like That,”. The show is expected to be broadcast at the end of this year.
