After having made the announcement that she and her husband Cory Hardrict are splitting over a week ago, Tia Mowry, who is 44-year-old, has now revealed how grateful she is for the support that she has gotten from everyone.
“Every book starts with a dedication page, and this one’s dedicated to you: my friends, family, and community,” she captioned “The outpouring of love I received from you over the last week has been so encouraging and humbling. I’m so grateful to you all.”
Tia Mowry continued by saying, “New Book, First Chapter to follow.”
Cory replied to Tia’s message by leaving a remark on her post that included an emoji of a red heart. “I love you,” was the response that she gave in turn.
The actress made the tweet just six days after announcing that she and Cory, with whom she shares the children Cree, 11, and Cairo, 4, had separated.
“I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways,” she captioned. “These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness. We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children.”
The Family Reunion actress added, “I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.”
According to documents related to the divorce that was filed on October 3 and acquired by E! News. Tia mentioned “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for the separation. She also sought legal and physical shared custody of their children.
The pair, who exchanged their vows in 2008, celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary earlier this year.
