Khloe Kardashian’s ex and professional athlete Lamar Odom weighs in on Tristan Thompson’s paternity situation.

After Tristan Thompson unveiled that he is the father of Maralee Nichols’ newborn baby boy as per the paternity test results, the basketball player apologized to  Khloe Kardashian, with whom he shares 3-year-old, True, saying, “Khloe, you don’t deserve this,” wrote Thompson on his Instagram story.

“You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you.”

However, the two broke up just last spring.

A few hours later,  ex-husband, Lamar Odom, interrupted the chat as he commented on a post on Facebook that talked about Thompson’s paternity case, saying,  “I truly wish nothing but the best for her, and I’m hoping we can reconnect and talk one day as friends.”

“she is a good person and deserves the world” added the concerned ex-husband.

Khloe and Lamar had been married for almost eight years. In July, when the Keeping up with the Kardashian star separated from Thompson, the fans witnessed a comment war between the two of her NBA exes on Instagram.

“Khloe thinks the IG comments from Lamar and Tristan were childish,” revealed an insider to a news outlet at that time. “She hates they were publicly acting like that but also had a laugh.”

While another source revealed, “Despite his flirty messages, she had no interest in connecting with her ex-husband”. The source further shared, “Khloe will always have a sweet spot for Lamar in her heart but has no interest in rekindling a romantic relationship.”

“While she still felt empathetic toward him, she has completely moved on from that chapter,” said the second source.

Although Khloe has been ignoring Lamar Odom, “she has been ignoring the noise and is focused on co-parenting” amidst the ongoing paternity situation with Thompson.

“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” revealed Thompson on Monday, January 3.

“I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son. I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately,” he added.
