The pop group that has taken the world by storm with their promotion of love and positivity, is set to appear on The Late Late Show with James Corden for the second time and fans are nothing if not hyped. BTS is one of the most-streamed music bands in the world, with most of their songs in the Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, and EDM genres.

The first time BTS appeared on The Late Late Show, the group went viral for its interview, games, and performances, especially for the Carpool Karaoke, signature to the show. Kim Tae-Hyung from the group, especially known for his stage name ‘V’, was making the rounds on social media for his unflinching state in the ‘Flinch’ game.

Apart from all the positives, James Corden was also under fire for making some offensive comments to and about BTS, when she said the group’s fans were all “15 year old girls.” The host defended himself almost a year after the first criticism, when RM from the group confronted him first thing in the recent interview appearance, asking how he was doing after being in hot water for a while. James Corden responded,…this was where I think it was wrong, we said that your fans were 15 year old girls, which of course isn’t true, ‘cause I’m 43 years old, and I consider myself as one of the biggest BTS fans on planet Earth.”

BTS along with Corden also did a live performance of their famous single ‘Butter’ for the fans outside the CBS Studio in LA. The group lifted tensions between ARMY, as fans of BTS are called collectively and individually, and their ‘Papa Mochi’, which is a joke from their appearance on the show last year.

The group most recently won 3 American Music Awards (AMAs) for Favorite Pop Duo or Group, Favorite Pop Song for “Butter,” and Artist of the Year, all three categories they were nominated for. BTS is the first Asian group to win Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards. They were up against global stars such as The Weekend, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Drake, and Olivia Rodrigo. But that is not all for the 7-member boy band, as they bagged their second GRAMMY nomination for ‘Butter’ in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category. The group was nominated last year for ‘Dynamite’. BTS is currently up against Doja Cat featuring SZA (Kiss Me More), Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga (I Get a Kick Out of You), Justin Bieber & Benny Blanco (Lonely), and Coldplay (Higher Power) in the category.
