ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Tragedy struck at the Main Street Armory on Sunday night when a concert turned into chaos, leaving one person dead and two critically injured.

The incident occurred when a large crowd began pushing towards the exits, following what some believed to be gunshots.

Rochester Police responded quickly to the scene, and while they found no evidence that a shooting had taken place, the injuries sustained by concert-goers were severe. A 33-year-old woman died, while two others were rushed to Strong Hospital in critical condition.

In addition to the three most seriously injured, six others were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The identities of those involved have not yet been released.
