Senator Ted Cruz posted a meme on his Twitter that supported Trump’s statement that the Democrats have been infiltrated by radical left-wing activists.

In the meme, a train with the words ‘Biden Express’ carried several Democrat Representatives such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as well as Ilhan Omar. The train was led by Bernie Sanders. A sign with ‘Welcome to the Radical Left’ can also be spotted in the background.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded to this meme by accusing Cruz of supporting white supremacy as he was also reluctant to condemn Trump for encouraging white supremacist groups during the recent presidential debate.
Ocasio-Cortez’s remarks referred to Trump’s response when he was asked about the Proud Boys, a neo-fascist white supremacist group. Trump consistently responded by deflecting the blame towards Antifa, which is the anti-fascist movement as well as left-wing activists.
Trump has also appealed to the federal government to declare Antifa a terrorist organization, however, the director of the FBI believes that white supremacists as well as anti-government extremists are the culprits behind the street violence that has occurred during peaceful protests.
Trump was reported saying ‘Stand Back and Stand By’ when asked about the group, which the Proud Boys took as encouragement for their activities and proceeded to celebrate the president’s statement on social media by adding his words to their logo.
After the debate, Ocasio-Cortez also tweeted and directly called the president a white supremacist. She stated that people are raising this concern for a really long time but most of them were mocked and ridiculed for it.
She continued to say that our country cannot accept the fact that they elected a white supremacist as their President and that this is clearly a sign of a fascist movement.
