Recently it was announced by Taylor Swift that she would release the eighth album of her journey named Folklore. It was a surprise announcement and she soon released that album. The album was premiered on the 23rd of July at midnight. The previous album to Folklore as “Lover,” was released in 2019.

Like her many other songs, most of the music from this album was co-written and produced by her. She did this job in the company of Aaron Dessner of the National. Jack Antonoff and Bon Iver’s Justin are also featured in the album.

Taylor mentioned on her Instagram account that a lot of things that she had planned for the summer didn’t occur due to some reasons but there’s one thing that happened although she didn’t plan for it. She was talking about her new album Folklore. Taylor Swift composed and recorded her album in privacy by taking some assistance from musical heroes. All of this was done remotely.

Dessner declared on his Twitter account that Taylor Swift reached her at the end of April to compose music together. He also showed the drafts to people that he had been working on along with Taylor. He mentioned that they were always in motion and never rested.

He found Taylor Swift quite inspiring and he was still in shock that how all this happened so fast. Future collaborations are also stated by him including Bryan Devendorf and National Bryce Dessner. The list also consists of regular collaborators like Kyle Resnick, Thomas Barlett, and Ben Lanz.

Swift expressed her thoughts about the release of the music. She mentioned that before this pandemic, she would most probably be over thinking about finding the perfect time to broadcast this music.

But the recent situations made her realize that nothing is permanent and guaranteed so she must do the thing she loves. She told the world that everyone should showcase the thing that they create with love and passion.
