The casket carrying the corpse of late drummer Taylor Hawkins, who allegedly died in a hotel room in Columbia due to a drug overdose, was spotted being transported to the US for the somber via the band’s private jet, reported News sources.

On Tuesday night, a Boeing 757, carrying the dead body of Taylor Hawkins, landed in Los Angeles from Bogota, reported Daily Mail. The reporters also published pictures from the scene.

“Foo Fighters Drummer Taylor Hawkins has landed in Los Angeles, with his remains flying in his casket,” TMZ Tweeted.

While the band members headed to the USA for the somber, the tour manager, Gus Brandt, stayed in Columbia, after the drummer, 50, was found expired in Four Seasons Casa Medina.

“Taylor Hawkins, the drummer for American rock outfit Foo Fighters, has died at the age of 50, according to a statement from the band,” Rolling Stone Tweeted the next day.

On Tuesday, the band said in a formal statement that they have canceled their upcoming shows for now in light of the death of their fellow musician.

“We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned,” reads the statement. “Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, heal, pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together. With Love, Foo Fighters.”

Hawkins was found dead in a hotel room in Bogota on Friday, where the band flew for a live show. The band had even planned to head to Europe and the US for other shows.

The late drummer reportedly had chest pain before returning to his room alone the night he died.

The drummer had suffered cardiac arrest and had ‘10 different drugs in his system’ when he died, said Columbia’s Medical authorities.

During a medical examination of the dead body, Forensic experts found “Hawkins’ heart weighed at least 600 grams,” twice the average weight, reported Daily Mail.

After the death of the legendary drummer, Taylor Hawkins, fellow singers took to social media to pay tribute to him. On March 27, Miley Cyrus dedicated her concert in Brazil to Taylor Hawkins. She Tweeted, “LAST NIGHTS SHOW IN BRAZIL IS DEDICATED TO MY FRIEND & LEGEND #TAYLORHAWKINS.”
