Sheridan Smith pulls out of the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special at the very last minute.
According to the news, the 40-year-old actress was supposed to perform at the BBC dance show along with Gary Barlow on a hit Christmas single – How Christmas is supposed to be.
The Christmas special episode strictly comes dancing as supposed to go on air on Christmas day.
The actress and Take That actor was scheduled to perform but now Sheridan Smith has pulled out from the show.
BBC network had already made the announcements of special performances by the renowned celebrities Gary Barlow, Jamie Cullum, and Sheridan Smith at the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special.
As per the reports, after the pulling out of the West End star, Gary Barlow will be performing alone.
The recording of the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special will take place at the Elstree studios in North London sometime during this week.
According to the sources, the Christmas special will have performances by guest celebrities such as newsreader Moira Stuart, singer Anne-Marie, Jay Blades from The Repair Shop and the famous actor Fred Sirieix from First Dates.
Sheridan Smith had earlier revealed that she had been mentally disturbed after being trolled on different social media platforms after she posted a selfie with her new boyfriend Alex Lawler.
Smith had confirmed in September that she was dating old flame Lawler and had stated: “I would like to work full-time and also be with my kids full-time. and I would like a unicorn that is also a time machine.”
Sheridan Smith had been vocal about her battle with mental health and had stated that she suffered a lot mentally after giving birth to her son and for four months she suffered badly.
Sheridan Smith’s spokesperson declined to give any comment regarding her pulling out of the show. No reason has been disclosed by the starlet.
