The Royle Family fame actress, Sheridan Smith recently posted a picture in which she and her man are in an intimate setting, where Smith puts and holds the man’s face with a caption, “life begins at 40.” Moreover, in the picture, the 40-year-old star also subtly showed off the diamond ring on her wedding finger.
Once Sheridan posted a picture of her and her new man, Alex Lawler, fans started pouring wishes in the comments section. Some wished “every happiness,” while some were curious if the engagement had already taken place. As one of them asked, “Engagement???”
Well, not only the fans are excited about this new beginning in the life of Smith, but her celebrity friends are also sharing heart emojis and are wishing her. Just as Gavin and Stacey’s star wrote, “looked happy and healthy,” another friend of Sheridan and a TV presenter, Claire Sweeney commented, “Go on!” along with heart emojis.
While everyone was speculating, who this new man is. To answer this, Smith posted a video, where she told the fans that the new man in her life is not some stranger but, “So pleased this fitty I dated back in the day (20 years ago) is back in my life!”
The news about Sheridan making rounds on the internet comes just a month after she called off her engagement with her former fiance Jamie Horn.
Sheridan met Jamie in 2018 via a dating app, Tinder. Soon they were engaged. Together they also have a son named Billy. When she called off the engagement, she was sure that regardless of the situation, “We both remain completely committed to raising our beautiful boy Billy together. We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you.”
