Wondering why you have still not heard of wedding bells alarming the tye-knots between Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers? Well, what if we tell you they never intended on ringing them? That’s right!
Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers announced their engagement back in 2021, and after staying together for five months since the engagement, one of the two was having second thoughts on progressing with the marriage.
While the pointers signify the obvious, it is not how it seems. Shailene Woodley crushed over one of the most famous quarterbacks in American soccer, Aaron Rodgers. He considered the relationship to an extent where there would be wedding plans ahead of the engagement.
But, fate takes unplanned turns, and so happened with Shailene, when he found out Aaron was not interested in getting married and was rather dating, Deja Blu, his current girlfriend.
“There’s no wedding planning happening. There’s no rush. We’ve got no rush.” These were the remarks Shailene made in an interview a few weeks before the breakup.
There are no talks of getting back together, for neither Aaron, who had officially announced the breakup, hinted as such nor Woodley, who felt his absence, for she was not as interested in the separation as the soccer professional.
Both souls are still maintaining mutual harmony, seeing each other as friends, and are grateful to each other for the time they spent together in quarantine.
Woodley on her Instagram concluded their short love life with a heart-filled note, saying, “To the month of June: putting macro whack world events aside for a minute, on a micro level, you nurtured this woman’s head + heart. You gave me oxygen in the form of friends, babies, trees, magic, DANCING, animals, salt, sun, deep conversations, six packs from laughing, availability in the form of tears, PLAY, sunrises, hallway tag, goofiness, spontaneity, pita bread (so much pita!), hellos and goodbyes.” “God, I’m grateful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
