Sarah Jessica Parker opens up about her former co-star John Corbett from “Sex and the City” and the misunderstanding revolving around them.

Sarah Jessica Parker made an appearance on “watch what happens live with Andy Cohen” and opened up about her relationship with John Corbett.

She stated that the star who appeared as the love interest of Sarah Jessica Parker in the renowned HBO series Sex and the City apologized to her for lying about appearing in the latest sequel.

John Corbett was last seen in the “Sex and the City 2 ”movie as Aidan where the character kisses his love interest Carrie who had already married someone else.

The famous actor had made headlines after stating that he will be returning to the reboot of the show for “quite a few episodes” but the truth was otherwise.

Sarah Jessica Parker addressed this controversy revolving around herself and the 60-year-old actor who did not make any such appearance in the first season of the “Sex and the City” reboot.

“It was fun for him to say that,” She said. “He actually reached out very kindly, because he’s nothing if not a gentleman, and apologized for doing that as a joke. And then I was like, ‘No, no, no, I mean, it’s a free country,’ first of all, and second of all, I thought it was kind of delightful and fun.”

Sarah Jessica Parker said that there is a possibility of John Corbett returning to the show in the future but at the moment there is no such development in the script.

“Having said that, I think he would be … well I’m not gonna – I mean, yes, all of it is possible, all of it is possible.” Julie Rottenberg, the author of “And just like that” said that there was never any intention of bringing John Corbett back on the screen in the first season of the reboot.
