Empire of Sin / Rosetta 2
The newly-released game synced quite well with the Mac M1. When the game was put to test with a high-quality setup at 1650 x 1050 resolution, it showed 50 – 60 FPS. Other than this, there was no issue while playing the game.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided/ Rosetta 2
The overall experience while playing the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided as a first-person shooter at 1920 x 1200 resolution proved to be good. The FPS was recorded between 26-31. during the course of the game, the FPS remained static at 30. Other than that, there were no freezes. However, as the game is heavy, it did heat up the Mac M1 machine. You can use a cooling pad to address this issue.
World of Warcraft/ M1 Native
Playing World of Warcraft/ M1 Native with high or ultra-settings is the real gaming treat. As it is the first Mac OS-compatible game, it works without any disruption. There were neither any dropped frame rate issues nor latency problems. However, we were unable to Ray Trace shadow as it is yet to be made available for the Mac OS.
Subnautica/ Rosetta 2
Playing Subnautica on Mac M1 was a pleasant experience. You can customize your settings to your preferences. Not only this, but the gameplay also allows you to switch between multiple devices to learn about the ocean depths, creatures, and more. Moreover, the game runs smoothly on 1440 x 990 resolution with high-quality graphics settings. However, one disadvantage that the players tend to face is, as the machine supports only 32 bits, you cannot change the water quality to high. The available best quality for water is medium for Mac M1 gamers.
