Philadelphia – 2 men were shot dead while trying to forcefully enter a home in what seems like a suspected home invasion.

The incident was reported in South Philadelphia on Monday as the police are investigating whether it really was a home invasion case or the men were trying to enter the premises for some other reasons.

According to the reports, one of the individuals was shot a dozen times and succumbed to his injuries.

A neighbor of the said house, John Carozza stated, “you see it on the news all the time, unfortunately, but this is something really out of the ordinary around this area.”

“I’m thinking maybe it’s time to move out, you know, for something like this to happen in the middle of the afternoon,” another neighbor of the house, Mary Grace McHale, stated.

Another neighbor, Nicky, stated, “things are getting worse around here. Now there’s a double homicide and everyone has weapons. I tell my wife ‘stay in, don’t go out without me.’ And now it’s getting very close to home.”
