Veteran actor, Nicolas Cage was joined by his pregnant wife, as he stepped out for his upcoming film The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent’s premiere.
“Nicolas Cage (58) Oscar-winning actor and pregnant wife Riko Shibata (26) showed a loved-up display while holding hands at a screening for his upcoming new film The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent in New York City on Saturday evening,” a source wrote about the couple.
The 58-year-old Academy Award winner, Nicolas Cage was spotted over the weekend with his wife Shibata as they attended the movie’s premiere at the Regal Essex Crossing, New York City. He was seen wearing an attention-grabbing black velvet suit that he paired with a button-down and loafers.
While his 27-year-old pregnant partner whom he wed back in 2021 Las Vegas, donned a kimono-inspired dress, embellished with stripes and purple flowers.
Riko, who beautifully disguised her baby bump with her outfit also flaunted a voguish silk handbag while she chose traditional Japanese style shoes to complete her look.
For hairstyle, Nicolas Cage’s fifth wife opted for a pinned back, sleep updo.
At the beginning of the year, the couple confirmed their pregnancy news via their representative who according to People’s reporting said, ‘The parents-to-be are elated!’.
Recently while discussing their pregnancy in an interview, the couple told they have decided on their kid’s name saying, “Akira Francesco, if it’s a girl, and Lennon Augie, for a boy.”
While speaking to a source, Nicolas Cage said, ‘Augie was my father’s nickname. And my uncle [Francis Ford Coppola] has decided to change his name to Francesco.’
’I think it’s so sweet. It’s like a little edamame. A little bean,’ said the American actor and filmmaker of his arriving baby.
With Riko, the actor will be welcoming his third child as he already fathers, Weston Coppola, 31 and Kal-El Coppola, 16.
On the flip side, Riko had been married to Erika Koike, Patricia Arquette, Alice Kim and Lisa Marie Presley. During the movie screening, the couple mingled with co-stars of the upcoming The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, including, Lily Sheen, Neil Patrick Harris and Pedro Pascal.
