Nicki Minaj husband Kenneth Petty was convicted of allegedly trying to sexually assault a woman when he was 16 years old. The alleged rape victim Jennifer Hough has finally broken the silence and opened up about the assault she faced at the hands of Nicki Minaj’s husband.

Jennifer Hough talked about the lawsuit she filed against the couple recently in great detail by recalling the sexual harassment incident which took place in 1994. She told the police that Petty held a knife upon her forcing her to go to the residence where he allegedly raped her.

Kenneth Petty was charged with the sexual offense and was convicted in 1995 on the account of attempted first-degree rape.  According to the New York Police Department Sex Offender Unit Database, “the offense was filed as sexual intercourse and noted that a knife/cutting instrument was used in crime.”

Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty served four years in prison in New York for the said incident.

Jennifer Hough filed a lawsuit based upon sexual assault against Minaj and Petty claiming that she has endured years of excruciating pressure to remain silent by the celebrity couple.

“I’m tired of being afraid. The only way to not be afraid is to continue to speak up.” Jennifer said while she made her first-ever appearance on TV in the show called “The Real.”

She further exclaimed “I don’t know why it didn’t dawn on me too, like, really fight. I just held on to my pants, and he’d hold my arms down. He squeezed the sides of my stomach so hard, and so I’d let go, and as soon as I let go, he’d grab my pants.”

Hough was in tears while recalling the painful ordeal. She stated “we were never in a relationship, we never talked on the phone. We never hung out together. I just knew him from the neighborhood.”

Kenneth Petty was convicted for the first-degree manslaughter in another case and also served seven years in prison for shooting a man.

Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty have a son who will be turning one-year-old this month.
