The holiday break is likely to commence this week for the National Hockey League Players (NHL).

Due to dozens of recent COVID-related events postponed along with games, the NHL association and league have also agreed to postpone the five remaining games which are set for Thursday.

It is likely that the league will now pursue its remaining matches after holiday break which are starting at the end for the Tuesday night games and the players will be reporting back to the teams on Dec 26. Moreover, upon return from their holiday break, the individual can also enter the facility until they are tested again with the negative result.

In addition, it’s just the latest series in the cancellations of events  in the sports world and a sincere thanks to the rising number of COVID-19 cases because of omicron variant surges all over the world.

In addition to Saturday morning, there were more than 50 players who were given COVID-19 protocol in the NHL. It was reported that the players had mild symptoms for the COVID-19, according to officials.
