27-year-old Australian actress Natasha Bassett is rumored to be Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s new girlfriend, after the billionaire split up with ex-girlfriend Grimes. Basset is set to feature in the Elvis Presley biopic directed by Baz Luhrmann, coming in summer 2022.
The likely couple were spotted together in LA last Thursday when Natasha Bassett was getting off of Musk’s private jet. The red-haired actress was seen coming off from the plane in a long black coat, gray shoes, and sunglasses.
Hollywood Life reveals, according to a close source, the couple “have only been dating for a couple of months, but they are already in a monogamous relationship. They are very much into each other and have been spending a tremendous amount of time together.”
Sources earlier weren’t aware of who the “mystery woman” Musk was seeing was, but Bassett’s identity was confirmed later on. The biopic ‘Elvis’ stars Austin Butler as Elvis Presley, Tom Hanks as his manager. Natasha Bassett plays Presley’s first girlfriend Dixie Locke, the film is set to release on June 24, per the new trailer. Musk was also spotted getting off the same plane in an all-black outfit, as Basset followed him. They got off the £50million worth Gulfstream G650ER private jet.
She grew up in Sydney, Australia, but moved to New York for drama school in 2019. She has previously starred in Ethan Coen’s ‘Hail! Caesar’ in 2016, other than Britney Ever After, Spy Intervention, House by the Lake among others. Bassett’s short film ‘Kite’ from 2014, that she wrote and directed was accepted in the Rhode Island International Film Festival.
There have been no confirmations or denials by either side yet. Previously, Musk was dating 33-year-old singer Grimes. The couple dated for almost 3 years, and even have a child together named X Æ A-Xii. He also has five other sons with his first wife, Justine Musk. Before his semi-long-term relationship with Grimes, the entrepreneur married and remarried second wide Talulah Riley, splitting with her twice.
