One of the most renowned bestseller books “All The Light We Cannot See” is all set to get adapted on the big screen. Netflix has announced that the adaptation of the book will begin soon as remarkable actors Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie join the cast.
After announcing that the adaptation of the best-selling book, “All The Light We Cannot See” is on its way, big names rapidly join the cast of the adaptation.
Just last month, the makers of the adaptation had announced that Aria Mia Loberti was finalized to play the lead role. Now it has been announced that she will be joined by big names such as Stuart Little famed Hugh Laurie and Now You See Me actor Mark Ruffalo.

“All The Light We Cannot See” revolves around the central character of Marie-Laure played by Aria Mia Loberti – a visually impaired youngster of French descent while crossing paths with a German fighter named Werner as the world revamps after the aftermath of World War II in France.
Loberti shared a photo while dropping hints about the adaptation on Netflix stating ‘After a worldwide search of blind and low vision actress, Aria Mia Loberti — who is blind — will make her acting debut as Marie-Laure, the star of All the Light We Cannot See, an epic four-part limited series that will be released with audio descriptions”.
What characters will Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie play in the Netflix adaptation?
Mark Ruffalo is all set to play the role of Daniel LeBlanc, who was the “principal locksmith at the museum of natural history in Paris” in the movie. His character is described as “caring and clever, he’s determined to give his blind daughter Marie as much independence as he can while also protecting her – and the secret gem they carry – from Nazi occupation.”
Hugh Laurie will be playing the character of Etienne LeBlanc; Netflix described the character as “an eccentric and reclusive World War I hero suffering from PTSD. Etienne LeBlanc is a nervous shut-in who records clandestine radio broadcasts as part of the French Resistance.”
The book All the Light you cannot see is written by famous American author Anthony Doerr. The book became an instant hit as well as New York Times’ best-seller and spent over 200 weeks on the best-seller list.
The novel also won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and the Andrew Carnegie Medal for excellence in fiction in the year 2015.
