Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet announced they are parting ways as husband and wife in an update on their certified Instagram accounts. The former couple was dating for 16 years, afterwards, they got married in 2017 and have two children together.
“We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding ~and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring

That we are parting ways in marriage,” their collective statement on the split read, continuing, “We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy~ But so that~ as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty.”
The statement also included a few pictures on the Instagram account prideofgypsies, owned by c, starting with the statement written as a graphic, followed by a few random selections of pictures with the crescent moon on a beautiful pink sky, and a couple of photos of a bird. It continued as, “The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived.

Though only married for 5 years, the couple first met at a jazz club back in 2005, this was when only Lisa Bonet was part of the Hollywood fame circle, Jason Momoa was still to get his big break. Bonet was famous for her portrayal of Denise Huxtable on “The Cosby Show” in 1980.
“Ever since I was like, 8 years old and I saw her on the TV, I was like, ‘Mommy, I want that one,'” . “I’m like, ‘I’m going to stalk you for the rest of my life and I’m going to get you.’” Jason Momoa said when he appeared on “The Late Late Show” with James Corden in 2017.
Their first child Lola was born in 2017, followed by Nakoa-Wolf just a year later. Bonet also has another daughter, the famous Zoë Kravitz from her previous marriage with rockstar Lenny Kravitz that ended in 1993. Jason Momoa reportedly helped Bonet raise Zoë Kravitz along with their children together.
