The NBA’s defending champion Los Angeles Lakers had a shocking defeat on Thursday by the Phoenix Suns, eliminating them from the championship.

In the 6th game of the first-round series; the Lakers lost to the Phoenix Suns by 113-100 bringing an end to the winning streak of LeBron James.

They controlled the game from the very beginning stretching the lead to a comfortable 36-14 by the end of the first quarter. By halftime, the gap had been extended to 62-41 and the Lakers never came back from behind. In the fourth quarter, LeBron’s team did show some aggression by scoring a few pointers but by that time it was too late and Phoenix eventually clinched the win. The Phoenix Suns sent LeBron back to the locker room early as they dismantled the rest of the team to blow the Lakers out of the NBA first-round series.
