And we thought only we were the ones who got scammed!

Lala Kent left everyone shocked after she revealed that Randall Emmett gave her a fake diamond engagement ring, on Wednesday during the Give Them Lala podcast.

While airing out some intimate details about her relationship with ex Randall Emmett, the American model and TV personality disclosed how he conned her with a “s— brown” diamond ring.

The 31-year-old Vanderpump Rules star got candid about how her ex proposed to her with a fake diamond engagement ring. She recalled the time when her ex and her mom had a conversation regarding  “how some rappers take s—— diamonds and make them pretty” that made her curious about her own ring.

After she investigated, it came out that the ring she confidently wore on her finger was “fake”.

Kent continued saying that she decided to visit a reputed jeweler to get the ring checked and take it to the one her ex got it made from. Lala Kent refused to reveal the name of the jewelers however she hinted by quoting on several occasions that “the ring is around $150,000.”

The author of the Give Them Lala, said after she found the GIA certification of the ring, the jewelers told her that “the diamond had been treated by one or more processes to change its color, the diamond was mostly brown, and that its worth was in the teens – not six figures”.

Kent went on saying “I love any type of ring that is given and has sentimental value. I don’t care if it was $100, I don’t care if it was $100 million — I don’t.”

“No wonder he whose name we shall not mention flew in four times, he had to make sure the s— brown diamond was clear!”

Later the original jeweler of the ring admitted to Lala Kent that the ring had a fake stone and “[Randall] knew exactly what he was buying. He knew the diamond he was getting.”

“It just was like, ‘Wow, there’s not one piece of the five years I was with this person that has been truthful and honest,'” Kent continued.

Emmet’s representative did not immediately respond to the requests for comments.
