In February, Ryan Fischer took Lady Gaga’s three dogs for a walk. On his way, a dognapper threatened to hand over the dogs. On his resistance, the man shot him four times and took two of the dogs. Later, the one that ran away was found by the police.

On Monday, the dogwalker launched a call for donations. Since he recently got released from the hospital, he wants time to clear his mind and forget that traumatizing incident. But, unfortunately, he broke his van, and now he needs funds to cover his travel expenses so that he could continue his sabbatical leave.

After that incident, all he was relying on was a getaway. On his charity page, while asking for help, he said,

At times I was scared. I was lonely. I felt abandoned and unsupported. I had long bouts of depression and doubt and self-pity.”.

He further asks the audience to recommend trauma healers and spiritual leaders to help him get through this phase.

He made his appeal for funds while on his journey. He said, to continue traveling, he needs funds from the public. To make his appeal more impactful, he shared his getaway through a video and recounted the entire incident of how he was shot.

He further added that he made it successfully to New York, but to move forward, he needs our help and said,

“With no vehicle, apartment, and having run out of savings and surviving on donations from generous loved ones, I am humbly asking for your help.”

On the other hand, police were investigating the incident and accused five suspects of dognapping. James Jackson, Lafayette Whaley, and Jaylin White were already charged guilty for murder attempts and robberies. While the rest of the two, Harold White and Jennifer Mcbride, were accused of having an equal share in hiding the stolen dogs.

Lady Gaga paid for all the medical expenses for Ryan Fischer’s recovery and set a reward of $500k for anyone who brings her dogs back.
