Kim Kardashian West has stated that she does not plan to follow the suit of her ex-husband Kanye West in changing the name. Her last name will remain West!
According to the reports, Kanye West had officially applied to change his name from Kanye West to Ye – only Ye. Kanye West petitioned in court to change her name Kanye Omari West to only Ye.
Kim Kardashian remains steadfast in supporting Kanye in everything he does in life but she does not plan to follow the suit of name changing nor does she plans to change the last name of their 4 children.
She stated that she understands and supports Kanye’s desire to change his name to Ye, as he has been known as Ye to his friends and close people and is also recognized with this name, she will not be changing her last name.
Kim Kardashian also disclosed to close friends that she will not change the last name of her children North, Chicago, Psalm, and Saint. She stated that it is very important to keep the last name so that children can recognize themselves as a family unit despite the divorce.
Kim remains steadfast in supporting Kanye while upbringing her 4 children as well as keeping the family bond strong.
Kim Kardashian West went and attended the listening parties for Kanye’s upcoming music album “DONDA”. The couple also had lunch together in Malibu and tried their best to remain civil and cordial after parting ways earlier in 2021.
