I like playing with those odds. I’m like, ‘Am I the guy who’s gonna make it all fail?'”
The heart-to-heart conversation on the show led to the actor mocking George Clooney’s highly controversial role in Batman & Robin (1997), “You talk to Clooney and he’s still joking about it — and it wasn’t his fault.”

The actor reflected on what would have been another super hit, saying, “It would have been the older, more raspy, for lack of a better word. Honestly, that would have been a fun deal, and maybe I’ll do it when I’m 80.”
On the other hand, Ben Affleck is all set to recast as Batman in The Flash. The upcoming movie that is said to show Affleck as Caped Crusader will be out in June, 2023.
