Comedian Jimmy Carr raged a new debate across the world after embarking on a Holocaust joke in his new Netflix stand-up show.
According to the details, comedian Jimmy Carr made some “truly disturbing” remarks regarding the deaths of hundreds and thousands of innocent people who traveled from different European communities during World War II.
Jimmy Carr has not made any remarks regarding his Holocaust joke, whereas, Netflix has been shunning it as well. People are urging Netflix to remove the special episode but it hasn’t approved the request yet.
Health secretary Sajid Javid has also called out Jimmy Carr openly in public calling his controversial content regarding the Holocaust “horrid”, he has asked people to boycott the comedian completely and not to check out his work.
Jimmy Carr’s show on Netflix is titled “his dark material”. It was released on Netflix on Christmas day but the particular clip regarding the holocaust got attention when it was shared profusely across social media.
The details showed that the comedian opened his show as being a “career ender” as it constituted of “terrible things”. He further stated that a “positive of the holocaust was that thousands of gypsies were murdered.”
This particular comment was applauded and greeted by the audience who couldn’t curtail their laughter.

“Hundreds of thousands of Roma and Sinti people suffered prejudice, slave labor, sterilization, and mass murder simply because of their identity – these are not experiences for mockery.”
The demand to remove the special show from the platform of the online streaming app is growing as many influential people have jumped into the controversy. Fellow comedians have also opted to bash Jimmy Carr over his irresponsible remarks and hurt an ethnic minority that faced genocide in the past.
