As a result of injuries sustained in a weather-inspired snow plowing mishap in Nevada, actor Jeremy Renner is reportedly in “critical but stable condition,” according to a report by a CNN station KABC, which cited a spokeswoman for Renner.
According to a press release from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, officers responded to a “traumatic injury” in the vicinity of Mount Rose Highway in Reno. The office had previously said that the Academy Award-nominated actor resided in the community.
The sheriff’s office did not disclose any information on the severity of Renner’s injuries or the factors that may have contributed to the tragedy.
According to what the press release stated, deputies worked in conjunction with the Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and REMSA Health to organize the care flight that carried Renner to a hospital in the surrounding region for medical treatment.
According to the authorities, the sole person involved in the accident was Jeremy Renner, who plays the lead role in the television series “Mayor of Kingstown” on Paramount+ and has been in a number of films that are part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, notably in the character of Hawkeye.
Investigation into the incident is now being conducted by the Major Accident Investigation Team of the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office.
