Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn Spears talks about her complicated relationship with the pop queen while sobbing profusely during an interview to the famous show, Good Morning America.
“I love my sister,” Jamie Lynn told the host, 56, who replied: “But things have gotten complicated.”
“Not only did my family not do a godda** thing, but my dad [Jamie] was also all for it. Anything that happened to me had to be approved by my dad,” said Jamie Lynn Spears.
Sister of superstar Britney Spears, broke down to tears while admitting that she has no idea why their loving relationship became so strained. She spoke about the “erratic, paranoid, and spiraling behavior” of her sister.
Jamie Lynn Spears spoke out in public for the first time since the end of controversial conservatorship termination in November last year.
Jamie Lynn Spears has aggressively defined herself against any kind of accusations regarding her failure to assist her sister in the time of need especially during the ending of guardianship.
Jamie Lynn started “When [the conservatorship] was put into place I was 17 years old [and] I was about to have a baby so I didn’t understand what was happening nor was I focused on that. I was focused on the fact I was a 17-year-old about to have a baby,’ she said during an appearance on Good Morning America.”
‘I [understood] just as little about it then as I do now.’
‘I’ve always been my sister’s biggest supporter so when she needed help I set up ways to do so,’ she said.
‘[I] went out of my way to make sure that she had the contacts she needed to possibly go ahead and end this conservatorship and just end this all for our family. If it’s going to cause this much discord, why continue it?
‘It wasn’t about [whether or not I agreed] with the conservatorship; everyone has a voice and it should be heard so if she wanted to talk to other people then I did, I set that up.’
