Years of speculation come to an end after James McAvoy confirms that he indeed married his long-time girlfriend Lisa Liberati.
The actor hailing from Scotland stated that he is married to his American girlfriend after getting heads over heels while filming for the horror film “Split” in 2016.
The paparazzi’s reported that James McAvoy has married Lisa Liberati for the first time in 2019 but McAvoy never answered the speculations and rumors.
The atonement actor is at the moment promoting his latest play “Cyrano de Bergerac” scheduled to open on stage in London this Thursday.
One of the close sources stated that “they began a relationship a couple of years later and, he confirms, recently got married.”
The actor did not take any more questions or make any comments regarding his relationship as he is of the opinion that further details will be “creating tabloid fodder.”
James McAvoy was married to shameless co-star Anne-Marie Duff previously. The couple had met on a UK-based television show in which Duff had played the part of Fiona, whereas, James was the love interest of her playing the part of Steve.
The couple shared an 11-year-old son and were married for 10 years. They got divorced in 2016.
