TV and media personality Jack Osbourne, son of Ozzy Osbourne, announced he is engaged to interior designer Aree Gearhart. The 36-year-old TV host and reality TV star revealed he proposed during their winter break together in the snowy mountains of Montana.
The news was revealed on Instagram by Jack Osbourne himself, who posted a picture of him and soon-to-be wife Gearhart wearing a large diamond ring. The couple seems to be cozying up with coats and beanies, with the trees and snowy landscape of the mountains behind them.
“Today I asked the most beautiful and loving woman I’ve ever met to marry me. She said yes!!. Life is a series of doors and I’m so excited to walk through this one with her. She’s truly a magical being with a heart bigger then anything I could have imagined,” Jack Osbourne wrote in the caption.
Osbourne ended his caption by saying, “Her step-mom skills make my heart so full. I couldn’t be happier then I am right now,” referring to his three children Andy Rose Osbourne, Pearl Osbourne, and Minnie Theodora Osbourne, he had with his previous marriage with Lisa Stelly.
The very same picture posted by Jack Osbourne was reposted by Aree Gearhart, who wrote, “Today my best friend asked me to marry him in a magical winter wonderland.
I’ll love you forever and then some @jackosbourne.
My soulmate, my adventure partner, my protector. I’m ready for forever w you + our tribe.”
Gearhart also gave fans and family more through her Instagram stories where she posted a picture of her hand with the same diamond ring on and another selfie of the couple from the same location as the engagement announcement photo. The couple has reportedly been dating since 2019, as is evident from both Osbourne and Gearhart’s Instagram profiles. Both have posted pictures with Osbourne’s family several times previously.
Their initial romance started as Jack Osbourne got out of his previous marriage with his ex-wife. Osbourne was married to Lisa Stelly for six years prior to this when the couple finally called it quits. The TV star also celebrated 18 years of sobriety this same year, seven months ago.
He posted a photo on Instagram around April writing, “It’s not that it gets easier or harder, It’s just that it’s life on life’s terms. If anyone is trying to get sober, know that it is possible if you are willing to do the work. Sending lots of love to my people who have been on this journey with me. #sobersbetter.”
