Dr. Jerome Adams appeared on ABC’s morning show “Good Morning America” and was asked about the holiday parties that the White House is going to host, as CDC has already given the guidelines and advised Americans to stay at home for Thanksgiving and avoid indoor gatherings.

Dr. Adams warned all the Americans and even the White House residents that everybody must follow the guidelines and avoid large indoor and outdoor gatherings as it is said to be a dire point in the pandemic, according to CDC.

Invitations for the Thanksgiving holiday party from the White House are underway to reach Republican donors and Capitol Hill, as reported by two individuals who received it. They also said that there are no particular instructions or precautions mentioned in the invitations about the coronavirus, it seemed like the same as any other year’s holiday party’s invitation card.

Not only that, Melania Trump, the first lady has finalized the guest list last week for the parties with family, friends, and staff that are going to happen in mid-December over multiple evenings. These holiday parties are one of the few examples where the negligence of the administrations led to several outbreaks reported in the last few months.

Apart from that, Stephen Grisham, Chief of Staff to the First Lady Melania Trump said this Monday that everyone will be following safety precautions, including mask requirements, smaller gatherings, and indoor events.

“The People’s House will celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah while providing the safest environment possible. This includes smaller guest lists, masks will be required and available, social distancing encouraged while on the White House grounds, and hand sanitizer stations throughout the State Floor,” Grisham said in a statement.

Despite the worsening pandemic situation and the refusal of Present Donald Trump to accept the election results, he is going to make a rare public appearance in Rose Garden on Tuesday to participate in the National Thanksgiving Turkey Pardoning ceremony.
