Ian Crystal – the young budding CEO of Evolution Spirits Inc. died while trying a frantic backflip during a Dead & Company concert at the 5th floor of Citi Field.
The deadly stunt left the young CEO with consistent injuries as he fell from a high and elevated position.
One of the witnesses stated that “Ian was unresponsive and he hit the ground head first. There was no way he survived. He was way too drunk. You could smell it. His brothers came running downstairs when they found that he had jumped.”
The police immediately cordoned off the area of Citi Field where Crystal fell. The CEO fell during the intermission of the concert.
Ian Crystal was known to be a highly ambitious and accomplished person. He co-founded Evolution Spirits in 2014 and its primary product monkey rum was a huge success. Monkey rum was a 91-rated, barrel-aged Caribbean rum that was designed to sip directly all with the help of natural ingredients.
Ian had a vast and in-depth experience of over 20 years with different FMCGs in different leadership roles such as brand development, innovation, entertainment marketing, content creation, and brand management.
Ian Crystal had always been connected with liquor and intoxication brands. In his life, he managed Malibu rum, Absolut vodka, Stoli vodka along with service collaboration with celebrities like Brooklyn & Spike Lee, Jay-Z, and Ne Yo.
Condolences started pouring in as soon as his friends and family found out that he had passed away. He had a huge impact on his social circle and almost everyone was devastated by the untimely death of a person so full of life.
Chris Dopherty, a friend of Crystal posted “he was such a treasure. I’m devastated as I know all our friends are.”
Eric Myers commented that the fatal incident at Citi fields was “so devastating.” He said that “Crystal was so filled with life and happiness. Ian will be truly missed by so many. May he rest in peace.”
It is still unknown whether Ian Crystal was heavily intoxicated or not, at the time of his death. Although the cause of his untimely death is still unknown, the impact he had on the people he touched in his lifetime will be cherished by them forever.
