President Joe Biden is making serious efforts to combat the coronavirus, ever since he took over the Oval Office. The new $1.9tn relief package was approved by the House vote this week.

Only two of the Democrats voted against the relief bill and claimed that the bill was too expensive.

Millions of Americans have lost their jobs because of the COVID-19, which has now become uncontrollable. President Joe Biden wants people to return back to their jobs to get the US economy running.

There exists a divide in both the parties and many are unable to apprehend the usability of this plan. The Republicans have claimed that this plan can be devastating for the economy.

Previously, the people were granted $1200 stimulus checks by the government as compensation.

President Joe Biden wanted to increase the COVID-19 testing capacity. For this purpose, he even joined hands with an Australian company to ensure the same.

It is time that the minimum wage must be increased in America as it has been more than 12 years that the wage rate has not been increased. President Biden was disappointed to note that the minimum wage rate clause was excluded from the bill. It is time to increase that wage from $7.25 to $15 in this bill to support the daily wage people.

This minimum wage clause has turned out to be a bone of contention between the two parties. The Senate is ready to take up the bill, but this particular clause needs to be discussed in detail to clarify any persisting confusion amongst the members.

The Democrats are determined to get this bill approved by the mid of this month.
