Actress Hayden Panettiere announced a fund for Ukrainians who are fighting against Russia on the frontline. The star stated that this fund will help raise donations for the Ukrainians. The actress made the announcement through a 45 seconds video posted on her personal YouTube channel on Monday.

She named her funding Hoplon International, stating in the video, There are no words to describe what it’s been like to watch the war in Ukraine unfold. It’s gut-wrenching knowing that the people of Ukraine, the people I call my friends and family, are desperately trying to defend their way of life in the country that they love.” The actress went on, “I created Hoplon International to bring relief and aid directly to Ukrainians on the frontlines. I can’t continue sitting on the sidelines as this disaster rages on. Please, please don’t sit by idly. Help me by donating any amount that you can. Together we can make a difference in their fight.”

Hayden Panettiere had openly condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine just a day after the war started on her Instagram.

She further added, “I have personally witnessed the strength of the Ukrainian people who fought so hard for their independence and have continued to passionately defend their country over the years.”

I wish you had more support and I wish I was there fighting with you!” 

The 32-year-old actress stated that her 7-year-old daughter from Wladimir Wladimirowitsch Klitschko is safe and is with her and not in Ukraine at the moment.

The Heroes’ actress was in a relationship with professional boxer Wladimir Wladimirowitsch Klitschko for quite some time before breaking up. Klitschko’s brother Vitali Klitschko is the current mayor of the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv. Both brothers have joined the military and are on the frontline to defend their country against the brutal invasion of Russia.

Hayden announced that she is standing in solidarity with the Ukrainians and will try everything to help them in these trying times.

Hayden Panettiere followed the footsteps of other Hollywood celebrities in coming forward and formulating funding for Ukrainians currently in need. She joined actress Mila Kunis who was born in Ukraine and Bethenny Frankel who made the fund called BStrong.
