Florida – Police discovered a woman’s body buried in a backyard after being murdered brutally here in Jacksonville.

Police discovered the body of 41-year-old LaDonna Williams buried near a fence of a rental property last Wednesday.

According to the reports, it is still unclear whether she died at her home or was murdered gruesomely somewhere else and later buried at the site of excavation.

The children of LaDonna Williams were clueless about her death as they were not in touch with her for the past two months.

The local station and the investigators have classified her death case as a homicide.

LaDonna Williams had been involved in a domestic violence incident back in 2015. She survived a stabbing attack.

At that time, she had stated “I wasn’t sure who was going to live and who wasn’t,” she said at the time.

“I feel like my son put his life on the line for me and he very well could have lost his life.”

A fundraiser was started on a website to incur the funeral expenses of Williams. Williams was mentioned as “the grandmother of two, soon to be four” on the fundraising page.

LaDaisha Williams wrote a heartfelt tribute to her stating “LaDonna was an independent, strong, motivated woman and mother. She lived life day by day ready for whatever God had planned.”

The police established that the mother of three, LaDonna Williams had been reported as missing since February of 2022. The case is still open for investigation but the Jacksonville sheriff’s office believes that LaDonna was murdered.

Tammy Williams, daughter of LaDonna Williams said

“She was a very good mother, she was a good mother to all my friends, my siblings as well, She did not deserve to die like that.”

The body of LaDonna Williams was discovered when the owner of the property was cleaning and preparing the house for new tenants. He called 911 when he discovered a box partially buried near the fence.

No arrests have been made in connection with the murder of LaDonna Williams as the case is still under investigation and termed as a homicide.
