In Dallas, Texas, a tragic accident occurred in which a vehicle collided with a group of teenagers riding stolen horses. The incident took place early in the morning near Great Trinity Forest and Julius Schepps Freeway.
One 14-year-old rider and two horses were killed in the crash in Dallas Highway, while another horse was euthanized by a veterinarian. Two other teenagers were injured but are in stable condition, and the third horse is expected to survive.
“The preliminary investigation has determined the three riders appear to be juveniles and the horses were stolen,” it added.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and is not expected to face charges. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not released any further information about the teenagers involved.
