On Saturday night, a big explosion shook an ExxonMobil oil plant in Montana, causing a major fire, according to sources.

The incident occurred in the Lockwood refinery at 10 p.m., just outside of Billings, according to the Billings Gazette.

Multiple authorities prompted a massive reaction in response to the blast.

According to Mike Linder, the Yellowstone County Sheriff, no injuries have been recorded.

The cause of the explosion at the ExxonMobil oil refinery is being investigated.

The Billings Fire Department said that they were called to the industrial plant due to a “structure fire.”

Witnesses said that they heard a loud explosion and saw smoke and flames billowing from the facility.

The Billings Police Department has evacuated the area and urged residents to stay away, according to KURL.
