Billionaire business tycoon Elon Musk announced his political stance this Wednesday by announcing his affiliation with the red- the Republicans.

Elon Musk made a big revelation that he voted for the Republicans for the first time in the recent Texas primary vote-out. He plans to do the same for Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis when he runs for the presidency in 2024.

The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla announces that he cast his first vote for red for the congresswoman Mayra Flores who hails from Mexico. Mayra Flores won the special elections as well.

“I voted for Mayra Flores – first time I ever voted Republican. Massive red wave in 2022,” Musk tweeted.

Mayra Flores comfortably defeated her democratic counterpart in an open congressional seat upsetting the democrats as it has been a historical defeat for them. This particular congressional seat has been part of the blue region in southern Texas for more than four decades in the past.

Flores clinched the victory by attaining 51% of the votes.

After the win, Mayra thanked her supporters and stated “For over 100 years, we have been taken for granted, I will show you what real representation looks like. I will represent all people.”

Elon Musk revealed in his tweet that he voted for Flores and also announced his further plan of supporting the Republicans in the future elections also.

One of Musk’s supporters asked him whether he will be voting for Andrew Yang? The new young tech entrepreneur who will be running for the president in 2024 to which Elon replied “I supported Yang last time, but DeSantis has a better chance of winning.”

Another fan exclaimed that Musk has his “political donations will be evenly spread out,” to which he replied, “I’m thinking of creating a ‘Super Moderate Super PAC’ that supports candidates with centrist views from all parties.” On the other hand, Florida governor Ron DeSantis is the new favorite as a victorious Republican in the re-elections to be held in November, which might set the momentum for his presidency run in 2024.
