Tesla owner Elon Musk has contracted Covid-19 yet again. The Tesla CEO who has openly objected to vaccine mandates and lockdown orders throughout the coronavirus pandemic stated that he might have “supposedly” contracted Covid-19 for a second time.
Elon Musk announced this news on Twitter stating that he is having “almost no symptoms.”
Elon Musk made headlines across the globe when he contracted coronavirus for the first time back in 2020.
He questioned the authenticity of the rapid antigen tests which were performed to find out Covid-19 infection. He had stated that he received different covid results, two negative and positive on the exact same day.
Musk, later on, stated that he might be a moderate case of coronavirus, therefore received different results but did put up a question regarding the accuracy of the Covid-19 tests.
Elon Musk had traveled to Germany for the opening of the “Gigafactory” of Tesla in Berlin. The event was also attended by Olaf Scholz, the German Chancellor.
It is most likely that Musk caught the virus on his trip.
Elon Musk has called upon the suspension of production at the Shanghai factory of Tesla for 4 days because of the rapidly increasing cases of Covid-19 in the city which resulted in restrictions and lockdown.
Shanghai has announced a two-stage complete lockdown this Sunday in order to perform mass testing of Covid-19 to control the spread of the virus in the city.
Elon Musk had rallied against the measures taken by the government of America against the coronavirus pandemic, especially criticizing the stay-at-home orders, quite openly. He was skeptical about the vaccine and had doubted their safety objectifying both the efforts of pharmaceutical companies and the government.
Elon Musk had announced that he and his family will not get the vaccination doses but later on announced that though he is still skeptical about the vaccines but his family and himself took the shots. The current net worth of Elon Musk is around $270 billion. He has recently tested positive for coronavirus once again and has isolated himself at his place though he announced that he has no symptoms.
