DUXBURY, Mass. — According to the news report, two children reportedly died inside a Duxbury home, where a mother and an infant were found unconscious. Both were immediately taken to the nearby hospital on Tuesday night as per the statement of Plymouth District Attorney Timothy Cruz.

The incident took place around 4:15 p.m. when the police responded to 47 Summer Street around 6:15 p.m. after a man who arrived at the residence Duxbury home called 911 to report about a woman’s attempted suicide.

While investigating the Duxbury home, the firefighters and police found two children, a 3-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl, unconscious with evident signs of trauma.

The children were then taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. In this tragic situation, an 8-month-old boy was also hospitalized.

“This is an unimaginable senseless tragedy,” Cruz said.

At the moment, the officials are not releasing any statements or identities of the victims. The state troopers who are assigned to Cruz’s office are currently assisting Duxbury police with the investigation of the case.
