The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced this week that the Pfizer vaccine for Covid-19 is safe for young children and the vaccination administration process will begin this coming week for the age group of 5 to 11 years.

After the announcement, almost 28 million children became eligible to get themselves vaccinated across America.

According to the CDC, children have less danger of acquiring the infection or getting severely ill from Covid-19, still, approximately 1.9 million children in the age bracket of 5 to 11 were infected by the virus. 8300 kids resulted in getting hospitalized and almost 100 of them lost their lives to this fatal virus.

CDC announced that the Covid-19 vaccine from Pfizer will be distributed amongst all the states of America to full capacity in order to begin the vaccination process in full throttle by 8th November.

Different polls showed that a majority of parents are hesitant to get their children vaccinated against Covid-19. One of the major reasons for hesitancy is the lifelong effect of the vaccine. Even though it is not proven by any source, the rumors played their part and American parents are hesitant to get their children vaccinated.

The vaccine will increase immunity among children. It will also help in decreasing the chances of transmission if the said child gets infected by a coronavirus.

The parents should be aware of the fact that the vaccine is for the benefit of the children. It will reduce the risk for the child and everybody in their surrounding as well.

The clinical trial of the Pfizer vaccine on children between the age of 5 to 11 showed the common side effects which are common in adults as well. There was pain or swelling at the site of injection or redness for a while.

Parents and caregivers should feel relaxed and at ease regarding the vaccination of their children. The trial showed that it is completely safe and there are no life-threatening effects or diseases attributed with the said vaccine for Covid-19.
