The tragic loss of Chris Daughtry‘s daughter, Hannah, has prompted him to return home from his tour to join his family.

According to PEOPLE, a Nashville police officer discovered the body of a young woman, 25, at her house this past Friday.

On Friday, a representative for Chris and Deanna Daughtry said that all of the band’s upcoming gigs had been postponed because of the tragic loss of the couple’s daughter, Hannah.

In response to that, he added that the media have their deepest gratitude and they humbly beg for privacy at this difficult time. At some point in the future, more information will be made accessible. The inquiry into the unfortunate demise of this little girl is still underway.

Deanna’s children from her previous relationship are Hannah, 14, and Griffin, 23. In addition to Chris, 41, and Deanna, 48, Chris Daughtry and Deanna have two more children, 10-year-old twins Noah James and Adalynn Rose.

After finishing fourth in the fifth season of American Idol, Chris Daughtry and his band released their debut album in November 2006. He has received four Grammy nominations.

The Dearly Beloved is their sixth studio album. The Dearly Beloved was released on September 17th with the song “Lioness.”

Atlantic City, New Jersey, was set to be the band’s sixth destination on Friday night.
