Kristin Chenoweth and boyfriend Josh Bryant are tying a knot!
On Wednesday evening, boyfriend Josh Bryant asked out the Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth, 53, at New York City’s Rainbow Room’s rooftop with an elegant three-stone Halo ring from Rahaminov Forevermark. Later, People confirmed, the couple had a romantic dinner on the same night at Fresco by Scotto.
“I’ve been the runaway bride,” Chenoweth joked. “Now that I’ve found him, I won’t let him go. I will race to greet him at the altar.”
To that, the boyfriend added, “My best friend and soulmate said ‘YES’ to me! Kristin is my world, my everything, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her!”
The couple chose their best outfits for their romantic night as Bryant was spotted wearing a suit jacket from Collection Michael Strahan to propose The West Wing star, while Chenoweth opted for a dark Balmain dress which she paired with matching Louboutins to make a bold statement. The newly engaged Chenoweth then changed into Alex Perry’s yellow dress for dinner later that night.
Bryant and Chenoweth have been dating since August 2018. The couple met for the first time at Chenoweth’s niece’s wedding where Backroad Anthem, Bryant’s band, was performing. During the wedding, the couple felt the spark and later, they met once again the same year after that, the couple officially began dating in August – Vogue reported.
The musician boyfriend and the TV show star fell stronger for each other in 2020 when the couple spent a quarantine together in New York City at the beginning of the pandemic as they got sufficient time to bond together. The couple surely had an amazing time as the fans could not forget their cute TikToks.
Previously, Chenoweth revealed to People, “We managed to stay creative and still have a good time,” and added, “My boyfriend is 14 years younger than me. Thus, I’m good at TikTok. I didn’t know what TikTok was, I didn’t necessarily want to do TikTok. Now I love TikTok with his help.”
Later, the TV star said, “He took a couple of walks on his own, as did I, because you just can’t be with someone 24/7. That’s the truth. And yet we managed to make it work somehow.”
