Through a post on social media on Thursday, actress Candace Cameron Bure proclaimed that she’s ‘pro-medical freedom’ regarding her stance on vaccine jabs. While previously being questioned about her vaccination status, she has severely criticized vaccine mandates.

“I’m ‘pro-informed consent,’ ‘pro-immune system,’ ‘pro-early intervention’ and ‘pro-sunlight, exercise, real food, & vitamins.’” posted Candace Cameron in a series of graphics that were reshared from the Instagram handle @thegirlnamedblake. The graphics were in Instagram push notifications style, which many have curated the pages on the platform these days.

Candace Cameron is not the first celebrity to have this opinion, as many celebrities have publicly talked about or posted similar things. This comes in line with the harrowing death toll caused by Covid-19 in the U.S.

A recent similar anti-vax stance was made by the Trinidadian rapper, Nicki Minaj, who took to Twitter to share her opinion. “My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied.” said Minaj in September, when guests were asked to show vaccination proofs for Met Gala attendance.

Meanwhile, Candace Cameron has been facing criticism as social media users share their sentiments on the matter. “Lol, covid doesn’t give a crap about your immune system. Ask 700k Americans who have died,” one user commented on her post regarding the American death toll due to coronavirus.
