ANTIOCH, California – A man from Northern California has been taken into custody on suspicion of murdering his 15-year-old son and 30-year-old girlfriend, authorities reported on Sunday.
The dead bodies of the 30-year-old woman and the teenage boy were found at night inside an apartment the east of San Francisco, following a neighbor, asked for a welfare check, police revealed in a statement.
The statement further reads, “Both victims were suffered from obvious trauma and this incident was determined to be a homicide”.
Later, officials arrested a 34-year-old male suspect at a station in Redwood City residing on San Francisco’s south. The suspect was not instantly identified.
Allegedly, the woman who got killed was his girlfriend and the 15-year-old boy was his biological son.
