Brittany Snow has filed a petition to take divorce from Tyler Stanaland.
According to court records that were filed on Thursday in a California court, the Someone Great star, who is 36 years old, said that the cause for their separation was “irreconcilable differences.”
She said that they had a prenuptial agreement, which would decide any spousal support that may be awarded as well as how their property would be divided in the event of a divorce.
Additionally, she requested that she and Stanland divide the costs of hiring a counsel.
Snow and Stanaland, who had been engaged in 2019 and subsequently married in March 2020 in Malibu, made the announcement of their decision to divorce in September of this year. The paperwork that Snow submitted does not include a notation of the date that they got separated.

“After time and consideration, Tyler and I have made the difficult decision to separate,” wrote Snow. “This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another. We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives.”“We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but for our dog Charlie,” Snow added. “We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter.”
