It seems like controversies do not plan to leave Britney Spears alone as she has now landed herself into a new heated feud with younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears.
Jamie Lynn Spears is all set to release a memoir and had stated in an interview that “she worked really hard to build the life she has today.”
This statement did not settle well with Britney Spears as she lashed out at her sister stating “she never had to work for anything.”
Britney Spears called out her sister in a social media post after Jamie Lynn gave an interview to Good Morning America.
In a lengthy post, the singer wrote that she was sick when she saw the interview of her sister promoting her book. She said, “It was actually kind of nice having a fever so high cause I had to surrender to not caring.”
Later on, she opened up how she felt about the interview saying “The 2 things that did bother me that my sister said was how my behavior was out of control. She was never around me much 15 years ago at that time …. so why are they even talking about that unless she wants to sell a book at my expense??? REALLY??? Then when the lady mentioned why she accused you of doing remixes to her songs … I know it may sound like a silly thing to most people but I wrote a lot of my songs and my sister was the baby. She never had to work for anything.”
“Everything was always given to her,”. She later added, “I love my sister,” as she began to cry. “I’ve only ever loved and supported her and done what’s right by her, and she knows that, so I don’t know why we’re in this position right now.”
Jamie Lynn was quick enough to reply to the lengthy posts made on Twitter by her elder sibling. She said that her sister accused her of saying things which are not true.
“The things being said are absolutely not the truth,” Jamie Lynn wrote, additionally claiming that her “family continues to get death threats, as a result of [Britney Spears’] vague and accusatory posts.”
“It’s time to put an end to the unhealthy chaos that has controlled my life for so long.”
Seems like all is not well in Spears’ den. Since the ending of the controversial conservatorship of Britney Spears, new problems have arisen and Britney Spears is holding on to every support she can get in these trying times before her threshold level is touched – yet again!
