Jason Alexander, the ex-husband of pop queen Britney Spears was arrested last Thursday for allegedly stalking and violating a restraining order.

According to the reports, 40-year-old Jason Alexander was held at the Williamson county jail in Franklin, Tennessee. The authorities stated that “Jason was taken to Franklin, Tennessee’s Williamson County Jail in connection with violating a restraining order and aggravated stalking.”

He was released on Tuesday after a bond set for $30,000. The court summoned him to appear on 17th February.

Authorities did not make it public as to who Jason was accused of stalking.

Jason Alexander was arrested last year as well and was charged for drunk driving as well as drug possession on 26th January 2021 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Last year, “He was booked for three separate charges by local police officers; with one charge being DUI, one for unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and possession or casual exchange of a controlled substance.”

Jason Alexander married pop diva Britney Spears briefly in 2004 for a mere 55 hours in Las Vegas.

Jason was in limelight once again recently when he shed light on his short-lived marriage with his childhood love Britney Spears while she was battling to get freedom from the controversial conservatorship of her father.

Jason Alexander had stated that the marriage came to an abrupt end because of their ender age as well as the team surrounding the singer mainly comprising her controlling family made the young couple annul their short-lived union.

“They told me if I would sign the contracts — the annulment — they would let me and Britney continue our relationship, and if we felt the same way in six months they would give us a proper marriage,” he said.

He added: “We were talking every day and I still believed the story I was told, that they were going to let us continue to talk, and then we would have this marriage, right, in the future if we felt the same way.”
