With their official entrance into the Guinness World Records, musical superstars Billie Eilish and Beyonce can now brag about being World Record Holders, in addition to their already impressive profile of accomplishments in the music industry.

Beyonce and Eilish both have appeared a number of times in Guinness Book’s 2023 edition, a book that is known for tracking record-breaking accomplishments since 1955.

Eilish received two new nominations, one for “Most consecutive Grammy nominations for Record of the Year (female)” and another for “Youngest person to win the ‘Triple Crown’ of film music awards.” At the age of 20, Eilish became the youngest person to win an Oscar, a Golden Globe, and a Grammy for her performance of the James Bond theme song “No Time to Die.”

Beyonce, on the other hand, has more than 12 entries in this year’s edition of the Guinness World Records book. These include “first act to debut at number one with their first six studio albums” (it’s now 7 albums at no#1 with the latest release of Renaissance) and “Highest annual earnings for a female singer.”

Additionally, Queen B is number one on the Guinness Global Records list for “Most current Twitter engagements (retweets) for a female musician” and she and her husband Jay-Z hold the world record for “Highest earning couple in Hollywood ever.”

Beyonce is the most recent individual to be accepted into the Guinness World Records. Other recent entrants into the Hall of Fame include Greta Thunberg, Simone Biles, and BTS.

The 2023 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records highlights the most recent and impressive accomplishments in the fields of sports, “extraordinary exploits”, the human body, “life on earth”, entertainment, and engineering.

On the Guinness website, anybody may submit an application to either establish or break a World Record. The accomplishments are then reportedly investigated and validated by a “dedicated records team or consultants” representing the organization.
