The autopsy report has confirmed that the remains found this Sunday in Wyoming are of Gabby Petito – a 22-year-old woman who went missing while she went on a trip with her fiancé, Brian Laundrie to explore national parks, as per the FBI in Denver.

“The cause of death remains pending final autopsy results,” the FBI said.

“Anyone with information concerning Mr. Laundrie’s role in this matter or his current whereabouts should contact the FBI,” according to Michael Schneider.

The FBI in Denver also informed that the agency would prefer getting information from anyone who has a slight idea regarding the whereabouts or had contact with Gabby Petito or Laundrie or who have recently visited the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping Area amid August 27-30 or may have seen their car anywhere.

The remains of Petito were found this Sunday from an underdeveloped camping area in Bridger-Teton National Forest in western Wyoming, as per officials.

The legal authorities in Florida are searching for Laundrie, who is still missing. Gabby Petito’s family contacted through an attorney earlier this Tuesday that they need time to grieve.

“We will be making a statement when Gabby is home,” – according to a statement gained by CNN affiliate KSL.

The confirmation is indeed a latest turning point of the story which has gripped a lot of Americans since Petito’s family reported her missing on 11 sept. 10 days after that, Brian Laundrie, returned home alone from the cross-country trip which raises a lot of questions.

The Coroner, Dr. Brent Blue confirms from the autopsy report that the remains are of Gabby Petito, date of birth March 19, 1999- as per the FBI officials in Denver.

“Coroner Blue’s initial determination for the manner of death is homicide. The cause of death remains pending final autopsy results,” the FBI said.

The FBI in Denver will make sure that anyone responsible for her death will be held responsible for their actions.
